The Force is officially awake
As promised, Disney and Lucasfilm have released the first teaser trailer for Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens. How awesome is it? Judge for yourself:
We'll need a few days worth of viewing data to know how well the reveal is playing with audiences. In the meantime, using iconic images and familiar sounds is smart business. As comic book artist Rob Liefeld put it in his Twitter feed:
Each frame of the new Star Wars trailer could be a Ralph Mcquarrie still. Smart move, his work is the cornerstone of the franchise.
